The Muslim community in our beloved state has grown over the past ten years. In addition
to new immigrants from Islamic countries, we have seen an increase in the number of
newborns in Muslim families and migrants from other states. This growth in the Islamic
community has created a need for an Islamic center that provides religious, social, and
cultural services. The Cumberland Cultural Center will offer a wide range of services to
our Muslim community in the state of Maine. We welcome your support in our endeavors.

Imam Badr Hassan
Imam Badr Hassan is the president of the Cumberland Cultural Center. With decades of experience in Islamic education and community leadership, he is dedicated to fostering unity, compassion, and spiritual growth within our community. His vision is to create an inclusive environment where all members can thrive, learn, and contribute to the betterment of society. Under his guidance, the center continues to expand its services, outreach, and educational programs, ensuring that the values of faith, respect, and service remain at the heart of everything we do.
